Culture Overview

One of our main strategic pillars is Growth in our People;
Core Optimisation has gone through a period of transformation over the last 12 months. When we hire, Technical skill is of course very important but we have put a huge emphasis on hiring for culture and fit as well as technical skill. The HR function works closely with the hiring managers to ensure we always hire the right candidate. Our ongoing focus now is how to continue to develop the team we have in place and ensure that we are meeting their needs as they meet ours; Another of our strategic pillars is Growth in Our Giving Back. At Core we have a positive impact on the communities and environments around us. Each year we give a significant amount to charities aligned with the company profitability. As well as monetary support, we offer pro-bono support for charities of our choosing. However, despite this, we still felt like we could do more and so we have now set up 3 different employee groups; Wellbeing, CSR and a subgroup specifically on Sustainability. Within these groups, we have 30% of our employees actively researching and proposing a more formalised approach to how manage the wellbeing of our employees or how we give back to our communities;We also have a group called “Move for Charity”. Participating employees contribute monthly via payroll deductions to a charitable fund that we donate at the end of the year to a chosen charity;
