About Grassland Agro

Company Overview

In February 2013, GRASSLAND AGRO was formed when Liam Woulfe’s already well established Grassland Fertiliser, part of the Freshgrass Group merged with Timac Agro Ireland, a subsidiary of GROUPE ROULLIER, also a hugely established company based in St. Malo France which was founded by Mr. Daniel Roullier in 1959.

GRASSLAND AGRO specialises in soil, plant and animal nutrition. We source, produce and sell a complete range of conventional commodity fertilisers, along with the most comprehensive range of speciality fertilisers and soil conditioning products with a huge emphasis now on our Soil Sustainability Programme.

Grassland Agro has three key strands to its business;

Speciality: We provide the most comprehensive range of speciality fertiliser and soil onditioning products. In addition Grassland Agro sells a full range of animal mineral blocks as well as biostimulants. With over 40 specialist advisors on the ground our business continues to flourish each year.

Dairy Hygiene: Grassland Agro also has an expert team of dairy hygiene specialists covering all areas of the country. These specialists have many years combined experience dealing with on-farm issues such as somatic cell count (SCC), TBC, thermodurics, lameness, TCM’s and chlorates.

Commodity: Grassland Agro have four industrial fertiliser plants based in Limerick, Cork, Slane and Wexford from where we distribute our full range of products throughout Ireland including a complete range of NPK fertilisers and trace element fertilisers. We supply mainline and customised blended products to suit specific requirements.
