Company Overview Established in Dublin in 1989, Ipsen Manufacturing Ireland Ltd (IMIL) is a specialised bulk Peptide Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient facility and a Centre of Excellence for peptide development, employing just over 12 people directly on site and 2 hosted global roles and a further 5 contractors. The plant supplies the active ingredient for two of the group’s major products (Somatuline and Decapeptyl) and develops novel APIs for next generation products in oncology and rare diseases. Sales of our neuroendocrine tumour product Somatuline especially have been growing year on year with an almost 2% increase in the last 5 years.
