Founded in 1965 by James and Joan Whelan in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, James Whelan Butchers has grown from a family butcher shop into one of Ireland’s most respected food businesses. Today, across 15 shops, our Centre of Excellence in Coleman, our own farm, and our online shop, we continue to honour five generations of craft while embracing innovation, education, and excellence.
