Company Overview Moorehall Lodge Ardee provides long term, respite, transitional and convalescent residential care for residents in a homely environment that promotes privacy, dignity and choice.

We follow the Butterfly Approach to dementia care which is an innovative approach based on emotional connections and accessing the residents’ reality to create meaningful and connected moments. 
Working with Dementia Care Matters, we have adapted the “Butterfly Model” to create an environment and culture which focuses on Quality of life, breaking down institutional barriers and task driven care, focusing strongly on the principle that 'Feelings Matter Most' and that this emphasis on relationships forms our core approach. 
Through this relationship, our staff encourages the people who live here to take part in household activities which forms the core of their activities programme and can restore the simple pleasures of home life in a supervised safe environment. 
Staff are trained to manage behaviours that challenge, create social interactions and provide encouragement and assistance with all care needs whilst maintaining the privacy and dignity of those who live here.
