The Housing Agency

Company Overview The Housing Agency is a government body at the centre of Ireland’s housing system, working with the Department of Housing, local authorities, Approved Housing Bodies and other stakeholders to support housing policy and delivery. It addresses key challenges in housing supply, affordability and sustainability through research, analysis and programme delivery, supporting home ownership, affordable rental, social housing, remediation and specialised accommodation. Guided by public service, social inclusion and sustainability, the Agency focuses on three priorities: strengthening housing knowledge, addressing supply and affordability, and supporting sustainable, inclusive communities, all underpinned by organisational excellence.
